Our love of everything drinkable!

Step into the mind of Roganic's bubblequeen.
Friends, family, loved ones and grower champagnes…
NV Pierre Peters, Cuvee Reserve Grand Cru, Blanc de Blanc
Lightning; piercing, clean, and undeniable crisp lightning of citrus bubbles.  Image of snow filled pastures with fresh powdery untouched snow that urges the six year old child within to be the first one to fall into and let the little bubbles of crushing cold snow pop and crackle next to your ear and make them tickle.

NV Jacques Lassaigne, Les Vignes de Montgueux, Extra Brut
Memories of Copenhagen during Christmas where tiny white fairy lights are scattered in every corner of the city.  When it’s unbearably cold outside, we stay indoors by candle light sipping Jacques Lassaigne’s fine cure for a cold grey day.  Humble with its fine beads of bubbles, all you want with it is the simple things in life: friends and some cheese and biscuits.
£85
NV Benoit Lahaye, Grand Cru, Brut Essentiel
If you strip the world of its labels and capitalistic adverts, you are left with what is actually important in life. Golden liquid, tinge of pink and seductive flavours of red berries laced with familiar holiday spices.  Sourced from only Grand Cru vineyards, the wine shows us that life is about balance; a harmony of grace and power.
£72
NV Gaston Chiquet, Cuvee Selection Brut
When everyone else is sipping on their Veuve Clicquots and Moëts at their glamorous holiday parties in New York City, the underground world of sommeliers and waiters celebrated after long services with the understated champagnes of Gaston Chiquet. Buttered pumpernickel bread with a light smear of honey.  We talk about character, tradition, modesty and above all...we talk about finesse.

Welcome to Team Roganic's Blog

Well we are here eventually, we wanted to share this adventure that we are currently on with all supporters of Simon Rogan and his pop up restaurant Roganic.

For those of you who have supported us over the past 6 months (yes it's that long already) we would just like to say a big thank you from all of the team here.

Simon has embarked on his first delve into London life at our site on Blandford Street, Marylebone. Away from the critically acclaimed 1 star michelin restaurant L'enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria, we have brought his fresh approach to dining and service with our set menu's of 3, 6 and 10 courses to London.

Simon who opened L'enclume in 2002, has build a reputation as one of the most innovative and well respected chefs in the profession (picking up Chefs Chef at the Restaurant Awards 2011). Awarded 1 star michelin and 5 rosettes, L'enclume keeps on picking up awards, such are 9/10 in The Good Food Guide 2011 and number 2 behind Heston Blumenthals 3 starred Fat Duck and Square Meals number 1 restaurant in 2010.

Roganic, started in the same vein as L'enclume headed up by the highly talented Ben Spalding (Rhodes W1 and L'autre Pied) in the kitchen with the support of Andy Tomlinson (L'enclume) and Jonathon Cannon (Galvin & D&D London) with "the beautiful" Sandia Chang (Per-se and Noma) on Front of House. Our young and vibrant team is looking to bridge the gap between the customer, waiter and chef taking it that step further. We pride ourselves in the way that every table has their own adventure and take their own little bit of Roganic away with them, from the fresh flavours on the plate, the the butter smeared on a folkstone pebble with warm homemade bread, we feel there is something for everyone (well most people..)

Many people are asking what is happening after two years, what I can say is watch this space!

Happy reading and even happier eating!
